English Premier League side Arsenal FC have partnered with 12Bet according to reports.

The deal with the English giant is reported to be a long one as 12Bet becomes the official betting partner of the Gunners in Asia.

“We are delighted to partner with 12Bet, a company that has a long history of working in football. We have a large and engaged fan base in Asia, and we look forward to working with 12Bet to further engage with Arsenal supporters in the region,” Vinal Venkatesham said. Venkatesham is the Chief Commercial Officer of Arsenal.

The spokesman of the betting company Rory Anderson said: “Everyone at 12Bet is very excited about this partnership with Arsenal. A third of the club’s broadcast audience is based in Asia, and over the last two seasons Arsenal were featured in the most watched live Premier League matches which highlights the strength of their Asian presence.”

Both sides are looking at profiting from the mutually beneficial relationship. The online bookmaker will receive LED perimeter board exposure at all the domestic fixtures that are set to hold at Arsenal’s home ground – the Emirates Stadium. 12Bet is set to receive access to the squad, including first team players so they can create content, and other promotional materials to generate more interest and revenue.

Arsenal, who recently partnered with Star Lager beer, are in the upper rung of the Premier League standings, despite just getting a win in the three games played so far. There is hope that they would rise above the competition to perform well after coach Arsene Wenger splashed £93 million to add five players this summer. Lucas Perez, Shkrodran Mustafi, Granit Xhaka, Takuma Asano and Rob Holding joined the squad. Wenger would have to best manage the players to reach targets this season in light of the increased competition.
